Information you provide

When you request a quote, contact us, or submit a form, we collect the information you choose to share, typically name, phone, email, address or ZIP, the pest or service you're asking about, and any details you include. We use that information solely to respond to your request, schedule service, and follow up on the work we perform for you.

Analytics & cookies

Our website uses analytics tools (including PostHog and standard browser cookies) to understand how visitors find and use our site, plus an IP-to-organization lookup service (IPinfo) to identify business and competitor traffic at the company level only, we do not attempt to identify individual residential visitors. The data we collect includes:

• Pages visited and the order you visited them
• Approximate location (city / region / country) derived from your IP address
• Device, browser, and operating system
• Referring website or search engine
• Clicks on key buttons such as Call, Text, and Quote
• An anonymous visitor ID stored in your browser so we can recognize return visits

This data is used internally by Hydra Pest Control staff to improve the site, prioritize service areas, and follow up on quote requests. Identifying details (such as IP addresses) are restricted to authorized staff and are never sold or shared with third parties for marketing.

On your first visit you'll see a small banner asking what you're comfortable with. You can accept all cookies, reject the optional analytics cookies, or pick category-by-category. Strictly necessary cookies (used to keep forms and your session working) are always on; everything else stays off until you opt in.

AI chat assistant

Our website includes an AI chat assistant that is currently in beta. It is intended to help collect your information and provide general guidance about our services. Responses are generated automatically and may at times be inaccurate, incomplete, out of date, or inconsistent with information you receive elsewhere.

Nothing the assistant says constitutes a binding quote, a confirmed appointment, a billing or account decision, a product-safety determination, or professional advice. For anything you need to rely on — pricing, scheduling, payments, account changes, product or chemical questions, or any health and safety concern — please confirm with a Hydra Pest Control team member by phone, text, or by requesting a live agent in the chat.

Messages you send to the assistant are stored along with the rest of your conversation so our team can follow up, improve responses, and train future replies. By using the chat you acknowledge that it is an automated tool that can make mistakes, and you agree not to rely on its responses without confirming with our team.

SMS communications

If you opt in to text-message updates on a form, we may send service confirmations and reminders to the phone number you provide. Reply STOP to opt out at any time. We do not share phone numbers with third parties.
